York City have announced their new home kit for next season, which will be a predominantly red shirt with white sleeves, navy blue shorts and red socks with white flashes.
Supporters were asked to vote from the two options available, although the club decided to replace the original red shorts with navy blue after complaints from fans.
The new kit will be worn for two seasons, with manager Martin Foyle telling the club’s official website: “Thank you to everyone who voted for next season`s home kit and all the fans who emailed us with their comments. We are very pleased with the result, as this is the kit the players liked the best. The team is looking forward to wearing it for the first time at one of our pre-season fixtures.”
