Former York City striker Ashley Chambers took his final goal-tally for the season to twenty-five at the weekend while picking up a couple of individual club awards.
The 28-year-old was on target again with his twentieth league goal of the campaign as Nuneaton Town were held 2-2 at home by play-off hopefuls Blyth Spartans.
That witnessed him being honoured with both their players’ player and manager’s player of the season awards.
Chambers has now struck 32 goals in 56 appearances for Nuneaton since initially arriving on loan from Grimsby Town in February 2017.
He previously made 140 appearances for the Minstermen and netted 23 goals, including his most famous in their Wembley play-off final victory against Luton Town in May 2012.
