York City’s play-off rivals Spennymoor Town and Brackley Town met at Harrogate Town’s CNG Stadium and it was the visitors taking the points in a comprehensive 3-0 victory on Thursday evening.

The venue was being used as Spennymoor’s own pitch is currently ruled as unplayable. It was the second time they have featured there this week having been held 0-0 by Boston United just forty-eight hours earlier.

Spennymoor are therefore still a point clear of seventh-placed York but with now two games in hand.

Meanwhile, third-placed Brackley are eight points behind table-topping Salford City having played one game fewer.

And in the night’s only other game, AFC Telford United came from behind to defeat visitors Leamington 3-2.

Weekend Fixtures: Boston v Bradford PA; Brackley v Alfreton; Chorley v Blyth;   FC United of Manchester v Darlington; Gainsborough v York City; Harrogate v  Southport; Kidderminster v Tamworth; Leamington v Curzon; Nuneaton v Salford; Spennymoor v North Ferriby; Stockport v AFC Telford
